The Marathon Stick is one of my favorite accessories for runners. The product itself is very simple and easy to use. I like to use it after my workouts and races to massage my muscles. The Stick comes in numerous different sizes and stiffness. I believe they have 9 different models. The three that I use and mention in the video below are the (red) Short Stick, the (yellow) Marathon Stick, and the (blue) Body Stick.
I like the Short stick for small muscle groups. It works great on the calves and is a popular choice for runners and cyclists. It is also short enough that it fits into almost any backpack or duffel bag.
The Marathon Stick is the one I use the most. It is more flexible than the Short Stick rolls out larger muscle groups easier.
The Body Stick is another option that is even more flexible than the Marathon stick.
In my opinion, this is a required running accessory unless you have a masseuse you can see regularly. It is very easy to use and easy to take with you anywhere. Sore muscles are a part of being an endurance athlete and I have found the Stick to be a great way to help get rid of sore muscles faster than other similar products.
In terms of price and quality. You get what you pay for. The Stick may seem expensive but it is a lot cheaper than getting a massage. I have been using the Stick for a couple years now and it works just as good as the first day I used it.

The Marathon Stick is awesome. The blue handled one is called the Body Stick and is a little stiffer than the Marathon Stick. People with dense muscles may like The Sprinter Stick. It is almost the same size as the marathon Stick.

I like the stick. It is a very easy-to-use and convenient tool for after my tougher runs and bike rides. I have used the Short Stick and the Marathon Stick.

The Stiff Stick and Sprinter Stick are even better and get deeper to the muscles for even more of a myofascia release.
