More info about buying this product.

The Brooks Adrenaline GTS 10 is the #1 shoe sold at the running store I work at. I pull it against numerous comparable shoes and more often than not, people go with the Adrenaline. This is my favorite shoe in the Brooks line up of running shoes for one simple reason. They don’t mess with the shoe. Shoe companies have a tendency to make a great shoe and 9 months later when the new version comes out, the new version feels nothing like the old. Leaving you to find another shoe. This is not the case with the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 10. While Brooks messes with EVERY other shoe in their product line each update, they tend to leave the GTS series alone.

The Adrenaline tends to have a “straighter” cut to it. This means that you wont have the super, sometimes overly, snug feeling around your arch. It is accommodating to someone with a high instep. This shoe is more comfortable for someone with a “slightly” wide foot than other brands that have a more contoured fit. The Adrenaline is considered a stability shoe meaning the shoe has denser foam in the heel and medial arch to support a flexible arch.

I really like the Adrenaline GTS 10. It is a very comfortable shoe that is in line with comparable shoe in terms of durability. Expect between 350 and 500 miles out of the shoe.

The Technology:
UPPER:
Engage Sockliner
Moisture-managing Element Mesh
Synthetic Overlay Materials
Moisture-managing Element Linings
Internal Support Saddle

MIDSOLE:
HYDROFlOW®–Dynamic viscous fluid units for heel and forefoot enhance midsole cushioning—attenuating shock with industryleading dampening and comfort. (You can definitely feel these “pods”)
BIOMOGO–We’ve taken the long-lasting cushioning of our MoGo midsole and made it environmentally friendly by adding a non-toxic, natural additive to the MoGo compound that encourages anaerobic microbes to munch away once it hits the landfill.
DIAGONAL ROLLBAR (DRB®)–A high-density post at the medial arch is engineered for pronation control and creates a smoother transition from the midstance phase into the propulsion phase.
DRB® ACCEL–Enhances tunable torsion of the midfoot. Shank-like thermoplastic devices vary from single units of a set modulus, to dual- unit versions of varied modulus (tuned with higher stiffness for medial support, the lateral side less stiff to smooth the ride).

OUTSOLE:
HPR Plus -  (a “higher durability rubber”)
Forefoot Stable Pod Construction – Midsole and outsole components are engineered to set the foot up in an efficient, balanced position from heel strike to toe-off, offering maximum stability and responsiveness.
Blown Rubber Forefoot

Our Performance Opinion:

Trails: Ok, but not designed for them. If you like the feel of the Adrenaline, Brooks makes a trail version called the Adrenaline ASR
Road: Fantastic. Great for short and long-distance runs.

5k-10k Race: Good. Assuming this is the right shoe for you, you should not have any problems.
Half Marathon & Marathon: Excellent. This shoe provides a lot of comfort on long training runs and races. It is a great choice for a 1/2 marathon or marathon.

About the Reviewer: Male – 190lbs.
