For the ProGrid Ride 3, Saucony stuck to their Heel ProGrid™ which works to minimize shock to the joints while the cushioning in the forefoot helps make for an easy heel to toe transition. Saucony is famous for their semi-soft cushioning and the ProGrid Ride 3 is no different. This shoe weighs 10.0 oz (for women) and retails for $95 making it a great bargain. If you liked the Ride 2 you will most likely like the ride 3. We didn’t notice a change in the shape of the shoe from the Ride 2 to the Ride 3.
