Nike Lunar Racer+ 2

Nike has always been at the forefront of shoes since the 1970’s, and they continue to do so with the Lunar Racer+ 2. The sequel to the original Lunar Racer, the new version carries with it some changes that enhance the shoe without compromising weight. As a lightweight distance-racing shoe, this shoe is also good for training. The original could not withstand as much mileage, and was really only effective as a racing shoe. The new version is also less “duck-footed” with the forefront being less bulky and sleeker looking than before. As a runner who also likes some flare in my apparel, I appreciate the bright mint green coloring of the shoe, and the subtle but apparent Nike “swoosh” logo on the sides. Compliment this with white laces, and you have yourself s flashy shoe. Additional changes that have improved this shoe are the cut around the Achilles tendon is now lower, helping prevent those blisters along the back of a runner’s heels. The shoe is versatile for most serious runners because of its lightweight and increased durability. The weight gives you the option to race, while the cushy feel and bolstered sole allows the runner to use it is a lightweight trainer. The range of uses for this shoe make it a great addition to any neutral runners closest, and for the price, you really can’t argue because you are getting two shoes in one with the Nike Lunar Racer 2.
