However, it has gone through various stages; and now, as it enters its 3^rd stage, this shoe is great for runners looking for a softer ride and can still train everyday. The Ghost 3 is made to accommodate most neutral runners. The shoe will last longer for lighter runners than it will for heavier and you can expect 300-450 miles out of this shoe. The Brooks Ghost 3 is a fine choice no matter what level of experience you are. When compared to shoes geared more towards advanced runners, the Ghost 3 offers considerably more cushion/protection from the road.

Like most of Brooks shoes, you can expect to feel more of a rolling movement forward as you toe off. It is personal preference, but if you like previous versions, you will probably like this one. With its specs of an 11 oz (Men’s) and 9 oz (Women’s), it offers a unique bounce, along with great cushioning and a quality, minimal stability for all neutral runners.
