Allen Wagner
Allen began running track and field and cross-country in 1994 as a freshman in high school. He qualified for the Olympic Trials in 2007 for the marathon and in the future plans to qualify for the World Championships in the marathon in 2009 and also make the Olympic Team in the Marathon in 2012.
Allen was blessed with an extremely knowledgeable coach in college, Robert Jay Birmingham, who is most well known for running from LA to New York in 72 days unaided in the summer of 1981, roughly 50 miles a day. Birmingham was also the assistant coach to Joe Vigil who is currently a mentor to Meb Keflezighi, Deena Kastor, and Ryan Hall; the best distance runners in the US. With his contributions to AmateurEndurance.com, Allen hopes to share the same techniques that his coach provided to make him successful with you.
